David Cannon elected Chair of itSMF International, and a Kiwi joins the Board

The itSMF International Executive Board is meeting right now, and has announced the result of the latest Board election to replace the outgoing Sharon Taylor. The new Board member is Marianna Billington, an active member of itSMF New Zealand. And they have elected the new Chair, David Cannon.

David needs no introduction to this community: ITIL V3 author, senior itSMF USA member, one of the founders of ICSM USA and the prISM program, HP employee, and originally Seth Effrican.

Marianna is a great addition to itSMFI: she works hard, takes no crap, gets things done, takes a pragmatic view, and says it as it is. I've much enjoyed working with Marianna here in NZ - she'll make a great contribution at itSMFI.
