There is a website that provides a commercial resale value for URLs. I'm delighted to learn that this blog's URL, itskeptic.org now has a Net Worth of $4642.80. Validation for those who have accused me over the years of being in this for the money. Nice to know what a couple of thousand hours of hard work and tens of thousands of readers and a Google PR4 gets you these days. (For the sake of disclosure, that's the capital value. The monthly revenues add a whopping $200 p.m. to that. By a remarkable coincidence that is almost exactly twice the hosting fees. I'm on my way to making another two grand in nett revenues off the site) By comparison microsoft.com has estimated net worth $160.6 Million USD. One wonders who would buy it.
