This is a classic tape of an Australian guy calling the local hot water cylinder manufacturer, Rheems, for after hours support but unfortunately someone forgot to switch the phone over to the after hours desk, so he got an answerphone instead. It also sounds to me like he did what any good Australian does under stress - had a calming beer, or three.
