 <description>&lt;p&gt;Good news, albeit second hand.   The word from the LinkiedIn thread is that &quot;one of the directors&quot; of itSMF USA said in an email&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;blockquote&gt;This issue will be formally dealt with next week — at its most simple interpretation, it is a great idea! Understand that Thought Rock came to itSMF-USA unsolicited by itSMF-USA to ask if we were interested in the offer. We agreed - what a benefit to our membership! This is where we implemented the offer from Thought Rock without fully considering all implications and this is what we will rectify next week. All training companies (or other sponsors) interested in providing our membership a &#039;perk&#039; for joining or being a member, will have the same sort of opportunity to offer some service. The member can than choose what they wish to pursue — it becomes their decision. Bottom line, it is all about providing as much value to our membership as we can…&lt;/blockquote&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
