About you

I am a professional in the enterprise IT industry usually attached to some aspect of software consulting, business development or sales. My 20 year background in the space has had me in and out of some of the largest IT environments in the world, usually trying to help them to improve some aspect of how they acquire, process, move, cleanse, reconcile or interpret their IT related data. Over the years I have see alot of mistakes as well as successes, giving me an interesting perspective into the enterprise IT landscape. I am compelled to join this blog site because for the past 4 years I have worked for a software company (here comes the pitch!) that takes the data accuracy challenges of a CMDB system head-on in order to help the poor, poor folks who have become slaves to the dream of a CMDB that lives up to their expectations.
