BMC

who is BoothMagnet?

England's Law: all social media channels degenerate into babble. #PINK14 twitter stream is following the rule. BoothMagnet is brilliant satire of the vendor marketing social media mavens. Sadly it is achieving that satire by trashing the twitter stream even more than the vendors are (marginally).

Remedyforce crap factoid alert

BMC are at the old bait and switch again over CMDB

Chokey chokes! Chokey the Chimp hasn't seen such a pile of Crap in a long time. Take a look at this classic piece of vendor double-talk. Tell them the joys of owning a MacLaren F1, then describe the value your Mum derived from buying a new Daihatsu to get to the shops. Yours for only a million dollars! In fact this article isn't even describing a MacLaren: it is describing a Jetsons air-car with virtual hyperdrive.

Crap Factoid Alert 370 percent ROI from ITSM

One would struggle to swallow that kind of number from any business case, but given BMC's recent high-level bullshitting, Chokey definitely calls "CRAP!".

Malcolm Fry swaps sides

Malcolm Fry, who has been BMC's ITIL "thought leader" since they acquired Remedy, is billed at the 2008 HDI conference as "Executive Consultant to CA". Seems he's been over to the dark side for a little while. Well well well. I wonder what Beemer think about that.
